Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of our website and any estimate, project or service you get from Stonebridge Epoxy Floors of West Odessa. When we say "we," "us" or "our," we mean our business and our crew. When we say "you," we mean the person using the site or hiring us.
By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling work with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us. If your signed estimate or written agreement says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job.
What we do
We're a flooring contractor in West Odessa, TX. We install and repair concrete floors and coatings for homes and businesses in West Odessa and the cities around it, including epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing and surface preparation. You can read more about us on our About page.
The exact work on your job, the products we'll use and the areas we'll cover are the ones listed in your written estimate or agreement. Anything outside that list isn't part of the job unless we both agree to add it.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, so it reflects the square footage, the condition of the concrete, the system you choose and any repairs we can spot.
Some things only show up once the old coating is off or the slab is ground, like hidden cracks, moisture coming up through the concrete, or old adhesive that won't come up the usual way. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you, and get your OK before we go further. Changes to the scope or price are confirmed in writing, and an estimate is good for the time stated on it.
Scheduling, site access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you, but coatings and concrete work depend on temperature, humidity and how the slab responds to prep, so dates can move. If weather, material delays or site conditions push the schedule, we'll let you know as soon as we do and set a new date.
Please clear the work area before we arrive, keep kids and pets out while we work, and give us access to power and water if the job needs them. Each floor needs time to cure before you walk on it, park on it or move things back, and we'll tell you how long for your system. Using the floor early can damage it, and that damage isn't covered.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials made or tinted for your job, or our crew has already started, you may be charged for those materials and the work done up to that point.
Payment terms
Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your estimate, agreement or invoice. Unless your agreement says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's caught up, and you're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance as Texas law allows. If you have a question about a bill, call us before the due date so we can sort it out.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, tell us and we'll come look at it. Any specific warranty on your floor is the one written in your agreement, and product warranties come from the coating or material maker on their own terms.
We don't cover problems caused by things outside our control or outside the work we did. That includes moisture or vapor coming up through the slab after the job, cracks that open because the concrete moves or settles, chemical spills, hot tires, dragging heavy equipment, harsh cleaners, using the floor before it cures, or repairs made by someone else.
The information on our website is general and is offered as it is. We try to keep it accurate, but it isn't advice for your particular floor, and we don't promise it's complete or current. Your estimate and agreement are what count for your job.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or the cost of storing your belongings, unless the law says we have to be.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Texas law. We're licensed and fully insured, and our insurance covers damage we cause while working at your property.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first at (432) 280-0038 or reach us through our Contact page. Most problems get fixed with a conversation and a visit, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation with a neutral person before going to court. If that doesn't work, either of us may take the matter to the courts serving Ector County, Texas.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to rules that would point to another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on the site is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement unless you agree to them in writing.
If you have questions about these terms, call us at (432) 280-0038 or send a message through our Contact page.
